Jack is the longest serving member of the team. Currently in his 16th year, he expertly oversees several contracts as well as dealing with the management of our apprenticeship scheme.

Chris has been with 1st Fix for 12 years and concentrates mainly within the North London sector. He deals with everything onsite on a daily basis from Health and Safety through to quality control and final handover.

Terry has been working for the company for 9 years, within the East London area. Like Chris, he deals with everything within the current contract at Alpha Square.

Tim works within the South London area. Four years ago he travelled over from Australia and has never gone back. He’s an integral part of the team and is looking to remain working with us.

Investing in People – Plumbing and Heating Apprenticeships

1st Fix Plumbing and Heating believe in providing job opportunities for young people interested in acquiring and developing a career in the plumbing and heating sector. As such, they work closely with local colleges and assist in offering training for all levels from school leavers to NVQ4+. Once qualified, all staff are encouraged to advance through the company with opportunities to move into management positions.

Health and Safety

1st Fix Plumbing and Heating are dedicated in providing a safe place of work to all employees. All staff hold the relevant qualifications for CSCS, SSSTS & IOSH accreditation. We have a dedicated Health & Safety advisor (NEBOSH) to oversee and ensure all procedures are in place with our commitment in the providing a safe place to work. In addition, we are members of CQMS. Previously known as Crown Quality Management Services, this service provides us an extra layer of health and safety security and ensures that our documents are all relevant and up to date.

Accidents can happen and whilst every effort is made to ensure that it never does, our insurance covers include the following: Professional indemnity, Public Liability, Product Liability & Employers Liability.

This works by the electronic logging of every installation, along with a date stamped photo and then stored on our system. This assists in onsite progress, sign offs and is very user friendly for all commercial teams.
